Inbound Voice - Intermittent Issue

Due to unprecedented call volumes based on a large amount of the workforce starting to work remotely our carrier is experiencing congestion on their interconnection trunks between Telstra and Optus which is causing some calls to fail.

Our Carrier's Engineers are working on several solutions to allow more traffic on their interconnections by bringing up new trunks to alleviate the ongoing congestion.

Physical build for patching between carriers has been completing and currently awaiting activation by the 3rd party carrier (Telstra).

Telstra Melbourne Upgrades:

The additional 34xE1 were added into the network today. That brings to 81 x E1 (~2500) channels of capacity added in the last 24 hrs.
